I'm trained as a Certified Life Coach through Martha Beck's Life Coaching Program, an intensive 9 month class with relevant study.
Life Coaching helped me to see it was possible to be an ally of my brain, instead of letting it randomly lead me around based on my thoughts misinformed by fear. That's not to say I've become a Buddha, but learning this has changed the quality of my life!
The Life Coaching I offer is process oriented, rather than goal oriented. We'll work on your goals, but the focus will be on the thoughts, beliefs and practical methods that will get you there. Even just one life coaching session can help you feel clearer on your issues, provide valuable information to improve your life, and give you the gift of being heard and understood.
The type of Life Coaching I do is a little bit brain science, a little bit knowing what questions to ask, and a little bit mysterious alchemy. A session could include making lists and checking with your Body Compass to sort your priorities, it could be dream analysis, or anything as practical as figuring out a budget for nomad life. There's many tools in my Life Coaching toolbox to help loosen fear and solve problems! Also, many of the coaching tools are included in my book, Wild Women On The Road; A Women's Guide to Nomadic Living in the Modern Age, and the Companion Journal to that book.
